Aida Salehi was born May 21, 1990 in Vaxio, Sweden, the daughter of Nariman Salehi and Zahra Bazargan, who are both of Iranian descent. At the age of 2, her family moved to Houston, TX to raise her and her siblings. In 2008, Aida enrolled at the University of Houston majoring in biology. However, soon after capturing portraits of friends and landscape pictures of England, Aida recognized her true passion for photography, as well as, her desire to establish a career in photography. Her photography ranges from landscape to portraiture and Aida is currently studying photography at the University of Houston-Main Campus.
